FIRST OFF...AM NOT LOOKING FOR SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP AT THIS TIME. JUST FRIENDSHIP. Straight male and Iowa born and bred. Farmed with my dad until I graduated from HS. Enlisted in the US Navy a year after HS and served in USS Warrington and the aircraft carrier USS America during operations in VietNam. I reenlisted after VietNam and stayed in the Navy and served for 21 years. Been around the world and many countries, including my favorite in New Zealand and Antarctica. Involved in Public Relations as a Navy journalist and photographer. Got my degree at Eastern New Mexico Univ. in Ruidoso, NM.

Love to do most anything outdoors and nature related. Fishing, a little hunting (mostly just pheasants), camping, nature walks and of course, photography.

Most any good historical related novel... Winds of War and War and Remebrance by Herman Woulk is a fav. Also

Big fan of action and adventure and sci-fi/fantasy...hollywood blend makes it fun to watch and escape reality sometimes.

Classic rock, baby...always have Pink Floyd, the Who, Led Zep, Fleetwood Mac playing. But I also enjoy some of today´s music by Adele, Katie Perry and Lady GaGa is fun to listen to. Not much into rap as much as I try to listen sometimes (just not my music, man) Also into great epic instrumental movie theme music by Hans Zimmer...check him out.,

If i take time to sit and watch tv, i tune into House, NCIS and now am officially a "Walking Dead" hard core fan.... and will watch talent shows such as American idol or America´s got Talent if anyone catches my fancy.

Huge baseball fan...love/hate the Yankees!! Love their regular season, but do they ever fail me in post season, ugh! Will catch a Vikings game now and then and never miss the Summer Olympics or Winter Games!! Got to see games in LA a few years ago.

Nothing...seen or experienced most good, bad and ugly of it all. Been around the block a few times and then some...Hate war, but support my fellow troops always. Will always support and defend my country and anyone who believes in democracy at its best. Cannot tolerate abuse to women and children and angers me to see a child hungry and not taken care of. Love and Life are most precious on this planet and everyone deserves to walk this earth in peace and feedom.

hmm, don´t want to get into any x-rated fantasies here lol... Secondary is i am happy when I wake up and realize I have another day to live and enjoy.
