Clint ... You know, it all boils down to his last sentence....
"GIVE EVERYBODY THE CHANCE TO HAVE THE LIFE THEY WANT..." That is what caught my eye when I saw this poster. I am NOT GAY nor Pansexual...and I admit I am not a particular fan of public displays or tv programs etc., highlighting gay activities, etc...just not my personal choice. BUT, I am also first to say , SO WHAT? I can live with it...I have absolutely no problem with gays desire to live a life they choose and right to marriage, etc... As a defender of our country and freedom and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, I truly am a believer of the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. EVERYONE has the right to live and walk free on this earth. I believe in God and I interpret the Bible as well as any man or woman. What I QUIT on and what I refuse to listen or abide to is the fricking asshole bible thumping conservative behind the pulpit interpreting the good book to his advantage or political stance or for what cult minded reason and telling me how to live my life, what i should believe in or how i should believe in and damn me to hell if I dont follow the "churches" way. (I am sure my friends or readers are thinking this is a left wing radical bleeding heart liberal)....not totally, my political base is complicated, but I do tend to swing left on many issues. And I am free spirited and can get downright mean and dirty if scraping with ultra right wing narrow minded mother fuckers. LOL, Getting back to Clint and his view...I tend to agree pretty much...

the funny thing is that ill bet the people that are against gay marriage are probably worried about their own sexuality...or they are homophobic...i have friends of all walks of life gay,straight,lesbian,black,white,asian,hispanic...and it doesnt matter to me as long as they are happy and doing well. |

Clint....I love and respect the man and his works...as for the sanctity of marriage I catch his drift!! He´s doesnt have much if any from his past 3 marriages. Its not his area of expertize!! I wanna hear from someone thats been married to the same person all their life...THATS the ones to get an opinion from!! |

Hey Walter, nice you stop by stranger! Yeah, hell, Clint been around some. From Rawhide tv series days early 60s...watched ol Rouwdy Yates (Eastwood) first run, ha. My mom just turned 87, so Clint is still young (My ma says she is NOT old, lol). |

Yes, descetchy, Eastwood is an entertainer for sure. Loves to tell a tale and had the rare pleasure on evening to listen to him first hand at his bar in Carmel Ca years ago no long after he finished up his "term" as mayor, lol...(he had a piece or maybe the whole establishment, never did know, nor cared at the time...called the Hoggsbreath Inn, lol). And yes, the man like many americans unfortunately has gone thru a few marriages, so the term sanctity has no value obviously with him. Whole ´nother subject to debate...but my point of course as I stated was pretty much his last sentence...I am a firm believer to live the life given to me and the chance for others to do the same. Yes, by the written laws of the land and such, but.... |

Everyone has an opinion..during Clint off time from doing his "RAWHIDE" series he would travel to county and state fairs. He stopped in IOWA here..and a waitress told me about talking to him and how shy he was at the time..and would spend the bulk of his time...holded up in his trailer. But that waz then. Yeah im stilll here surrounded by corn and soybeans. Thanks for you visit..and i do honor everyone choices in life. Free wills belongs to everyone |

Well Chief (ESABATM) you sure are welcome to express your opinion, I have no quams or ill attitule toward Eastwood. He seemed ok in person. But that is not the purpose I posted him. I posted mainly for what is quoted and happen to agree about the last sentence he said...Not here to promote him, he is not the issue. Hope you are doing well. Thanks for stopping by. |

Thanks for the comment Roy (descetchy). Hey, if you come back here, what do you think Shawn Johnson is going to do if she makes the Olympics this year? I see you enjoy gymnastics and I think you also teach it?? Anyway the Iowa girl did well 4 years ago, would enjoy seeing her being successful along with the other girls. I really do enjoy the games and particularly women´s gymnastics. |

Clint´s quote is something I agree with 100% gays should be allowed to have a happy life as a straight couple has. |
