Road Runner
I wish I could say that this was my own shot - and somewhere around here I have quite a few photos that I´ve taken. These goofy birds used to be pretty common. I´d see them often out in the desert, or even in the yard. then people began to move in, and the road runners (and many other critters) moved out or were killed out. The other day, I saw one for the first time in about 3 years. I didn´t have the chance to take a photo because I was too busy trying to not crash. I was driving home from the store when it ran out in front of me on the road, then changed its mind, spun around and ran back to where it had come from.
