hi scammbuster got a question, i keep getin a ton of im´s all the time from these supposedly women lookinn for love ha! on yahoo im and it seems about everyone of them is from nigeria,ghana.. now there is this 1 in particular had told me she scamms, she moved to just north west of the city and had made well in excess of 150 grand in over 8 month,yea its pathetic , but its what we do, i can say 1 thing it is a girl cuz she sent a live vid from another site and said she works in this building that has a network,they all use 1 pc for the main info that stores others they im personal info and each person has multiple accounts/profiles.. sounds so strange but they work like endless hrs just to make a killin in one night , they also work out of motell rooms,and have as much as 4 to 5 profiles up and running at same time. now with this being said what is the best solution to make shur we dont get hacked,i do know i keep an eye out on my firewall and that the virus center is kept up to date. you got any solutions to stop recieving im´s from anonymous scammmers or ppl from nigeria. and help is worth while and idd love to spread the word on my blogger. any thing to help keep every one else safe as well

Hey there, i was just going through your profile and hats off to you... what you are doing is absolutely great getting out scammers but what about the ones that use photos of actors, models even famous singers etc... Too many out there.... I just believe it´s better to be yourself and these people that do such things are probably not confident with themselves and don´t appreciate themselves so they want to take credit for others achievements by posting their photos and trying to be them... I have been contacted BY freaking scammers many of them, some with at least four different names and the same pictures!Are they that stupid that they don´t keep records of whom they tried to swindle and failed to do so? You would think that a scamer would keep a log of the user names that they already tried to defraud and struck out on! Goes to show that they are stupid, uneducated, and retarded for trying to defraud the same people repeatedly - only by using different names. I would love get my hands on just one of these scammers and ring their necks!They steal your heart and then they go for your wallet! Did you ever notice that they all use one of about 4-5 different stories...it´s as if they use form letters and then fill in the blanks! I suspect that a good scammer that can write in proper English and can get your heart pumping and steal your heart in one letter, probably pulls in about $30,000.00 per month...I heard that some work in teams, so some work out of hotels, some are independents...They can only get online at certain hours of the day (that should be a red flag right there). I wouldn´t be surprised that an expert scammer can pull in 30,000 a month! All they need is one or two lonely old men a month that have some bucks to send them a few thousand at a time! Then there are the small fry - where they try to get what ever they can get $900, 500, 300, 100, they even try to negotiate with me when I say no way am I going to send any money to you! Keep it up!

make up a yahoo or msn email account just for these scammers. Then look at the full header of the email address and get all pertinent info like IP address, service providers, dns addresses. Then ping them, GET THE IP ADDRESS AND MAYBE THE mac address, and then trace route them. cmd prompt/ ping ip address/ run a tracert and see if you can follow it back to the source. This way you have something to give to the internet police. There are some nice web pages that you can DO THIS WITHOUT KNOWING HOW TO DO COMMAND LINE TRACES...ONE THAT I KNOW OF Is WHOIS.NET AND THEN THERE ARE APPLICATIONS THAT DO EVERYTHING IN A "GUI" FORMAT INSTEAD OF COMMAND LINE AND THEY ARE FREE TO TRY FOR TRIALWARE I THINK ONE IS CALLED TRACEROUTE. THERE ARE OTHERS - JUST GOOGLE OR GO TO WWW.9DOWN.COM YOU CaN GET PACKET SNIFFERS AND ALL KINDS OF STUFF THERE.
