A Field of Wildflowers in Upper Michigan
Last August I drove to the UP of Michigan. Hadn't been there in a while. I took pictures of anything and everything.

Flowers are so important to me....I made myself a promise (when Joe died) that I will have fresh flowers in my home at all times.....so far, I have been able to keep that promise...these are lovely and amazing to be blooming so late in the summer....Michigan must be a beautiful state... |

Hard to tell what kind of hawks were in the tree. In the city, yes, they are even mentioned in the "Lincoln Rhyme" series of Jeffery Deaver Books, living or visiting the ledge where the detective lives in N.Y.C. nice field of dreams |
