The Lincoln Memorial
Moving on we come to the Lincoln Memorial at the very end of the National Mall. From here to the Capitol, where we emerged from the Metro station is 2 1/2 miles...and we´re just getting started on our day!! You really need to go into training to be a tourist...as we discovered by the end of the day.
