The Tunnel Of Love

The aquarium has one large tank with a tunnel through it were you can watch the fish go over your head. The big manta rays are really impressive to see from below. It´s like somebody drew a happy face on their flat bellies. .... Today the rain has stopped. We had a fairly relaxed day hanging around on base while Erin had to work. Walking around we saw the first cherry trees to start blossoming. By next week this whole area will be a sea of cherry blossoms. The Festival is this weekend...Monday we leave for Tokyo (which everyone here is quick to point out is currently THE most expensive city in the world!!) I it always felt that way no matter where you went on vacation, but this time it´s for real..ha,ha.ha....Happy Thursday to everyone.

It´s midnight over there so just wishing you many sweet dreams. Wonderful place to watch the habitats in the ocean. We have this kind of aquarium in San Francisco, Fisherman´s Wharf (Pier 39); it has big sharks, stingrays, small fish, starfish, tuna, jellyfish and many more to mention. There´s a video about a smart octopus that does a Houdini escaped from a complex built tubes and he knows how to open a jar that has a crab in it. Truly fascinating!! Glad to see you under the tunnel of a lovely aquarium. Handsome shot!
