Heard some firefighter´s got killed out there! I do not know...between forest fires,earth quakes,and smog...can be a tough place to live out there

Spencer, only if your believe the scar stories in the news. Yes, this fire is huge and out of control. The two firemen that died were killed trying to escape the flames. They were part of a corrections facility fire team. Three others were burned, but because they didn´t listen to orders to get out of the area first! To make it worse, the fire if burning brush that hasn´t burned for more than 40 years. And it is very dry, and very hot. My fireman roommate was sent to man a strike team with other fire captains on this fire. It could take two weeks to put out .
