MAN OF MANY FACES

LAVA FLOWS GOING INTO LAKE SUPERIOR

Yes we do have Lava flows here in the Midwest. This is how the great Lakes were formed over 300 millions years ago. This is an awesome sight to be there and see them for your self. Beautiful color stones of Quartz of many colors mixed in the flows.

Thanks Phyllis. Yes they are very large. Not only are they large but they are the largest fresh water shed in the world. Lake Superior alone has over 2,000 miles of shore line. If by chance we should loose the Great Lakes. The whole world would be in trouble. That is an awesome thought

I think you have a great shot here, good work! Nice foreground to give depth to the photo. Amazing how far the shore is. i´ve flown over them, and they are indeed large! Audi3
